Evidence of English language proficiency through the TOEFL certificate is indeed being sought after by Indonesian students. In addition to educational purposes, TOEFL can also be used to find work so that people compete to get a high score. The most popular TOEFL taken is the TOEFL PBT. TOEFL PBT tests the examinee’s Listening, Structure and Written Expression, and Reading skills. It looks easy, but it’s actually quite challenging to get the best score.
On Thursday, December 16, 2021, Lorven held a webinar entitled ‘TOEFL Made Easy’. As the title suggests, this webinar aims to share strategies on how to take the tests successfully with participants from several high schools and universities in Yogyakarta its surrounding area. The webinar began by discussing the challenges faced by participants that make it difficult to get the best possible score on the TOEFL.
Next, we discussed the best strategies that can be used when going through the Listening, Structure and Reading questions. These tips were also, of course, tried directly by the webinar participants by working directly on some of the TOEFL practice questions provided by Lorven. The webinar ended with the hope that a little knowledge that has been shared can be useful for all participants in the future.
